Project breakdown:

 

Juliet Sear is a real personality; through and through a tv star, baker of incredible cakes, experimentalist, cockney character and fun mum - all of which you get from just five minutes of talking to her… or even just watching her on tv.

For this reason, I knew the project was going to be super creative and rewarding. and I wasn’t wrong - so many personality gems to unearth and buff up visually… the deep designer’s dream!

Juliet and her talent team were ready for some fresh, full on momentum - a new direction to take Juliet to the next level of her career.

She’d established herself as a master of her craft. Now, she just needed a brand to reflect her unique, charm and motivating message.

Following research, strategy and idea generation phases, I created three concept brand routes championing Juliet’s identified ‘Wonderous/Inspiring’, ‘Professional’ and ‘Social/Sharing’ style.

Challenged with creating a full identity for this tv personality and celebrity chef, I worked hard to visually express all of Juliet’s unique, engaging quirks.

From exploring shorthand logos inspired by Juliet’s love for swifts, to sloganising some of her most distinctive phrases, the end result was an accessible, impactful, joyful brand direction perfectly suited to ‘The Wonderbaker’ herself.

Proof? it’s in the pudding (of course!):

Juliet and her team have fully embraced her new brand, receiving a great public reception from her fans and colleagues.

Juliet Sear merchandise continues to release featuring her branded leopard print pattern and new logo.
